Computer and Photo Generated 3D imagery:
There are two types of 3D models: computer generated models, and 360 degree photo generated models. Computer generated models can be made of buildings from blue prints or floor plans: residential 3D models. This is ideal for displaying homes for sale that are on the drawing board. It can also be used for remodeling projects. These virtually staged models are actually less expensive than building a model from 360º virtual reality photography. Photo generated 3D models:
Photo generated models can be made by stitching a series of overlapping images into a 3D rendition. A drone can be used for large objects, that are too tall for hand held photography: 30′ tall monument. Smaller objects can be shot with most any camera and stitched together.
