I am a direct descendent of a number of unique American historical individuals, both male and female. A gradual education of my ancestors over time, has developed a very personal historical perspective of the world around me. From Jamestown Native American roots, to the American Civil War, to Nashville’s first public school free lunch program, my families DNA is widespread, in the state of Tennessee alone, for 8 generations.
In 1982, my aviation flight training immersed me in computer technology, on one of the most technologically advanced airplanes at the time: The P-3 Orion. My military experience also developed a deep interest in world history, since just about every dangerous mission had some roots in the distant past.
As an early adopter of desktop publishing, with the first generation Mac, I now have decades of experience in computer assisted visual design. From there, the path has led me to Virtual Reality which, in my opinion, is a paradigm shift in play right now. As a former Nashville Metropolitan Historical Commission member and former president of a Nashville based battlefield preservation organization, I have a passion for saving historical structures and real estate. As a Certified Google Street View photographer, I now have the ability to preserve the places I cherish in Virtual Reality – forever. This is what I do.
