Best camera system for virtual tours?
There are many Virtual Tours options. Price varies with quality and flexibility. Point and shoot 360º cameras are getting better, but the best quality comes with multiple shots overlapped (stitched) together from a DSLR (digital single lens reflex camera). The more shots, the higher the resolution.
DSLR’s also produce infinitely better low light imagery. My night-time 360º photo spheres are one of my trademark services. See one of my corporate clients headquarters shot below at night in 360º:
It’s important to own your hired photography. Most services control the final imagery. That means you can’t use it on Google or Facebook among other things – a very important benefit!
Google Maps is one of the best places to have people view your real estate space. I have evidence to support this, with over 10 million views of my works, in the last 2 years.
A few weeks ago, I shot a luxury apartment complex in Durham, NC. In the first 11 days we had 5950 views on Google. That’s 550 per day! See West Village luxury apartments below:
Facebook also supports 360º imagery for social media engagement.
Virual Tours are the industry standard for showcasing real estate rentals and sales. If you are looking for the best, call me to schedule a free estimate.
