Using AI to animate 2D Head Shot Photos
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is currently being deployed to animate 2D head shots. Myhetitage.com has added this feature to their online genealogy service enabling customers to view their long deceased relatives in life-like animated videos. It’s called Deep Nostalgia™. They also have a great retouching option, and a one-click colorization from black & white imagery.
This is my great-great father Reverend John H. Phillips. The head-shot is circa 1860. His younger brother below him David L. Phillips is from 1863. Their imagery is hauntingly surreal.
