I am an FAA certified Part 107 SUAS (UAV or drone) video and photography pilot, a licensed private pilot, and former U.S. Navy navigator with over 2000 hours in military aircraft. A drone is not a toy, so you need an experienced operator that is knowledgable of weather, aviation aerodynamics and restricted airspace, just to name a few skill-sets.
If you hire a aerial photographer, it is required by law, that they to have a SUAS Federal Aviation Administration Certificate.
I use the DJI Mavic Pro Small Unmanned Vehicle System (SUAS). The Mavic Pro captures high resolution 4K and 12 megapixel video and still imagery. It has a sophisticated collision avoidance system, to insure safe operation in crowded environments. An iPad application is used that allows a flight plan to be filed on site.
As a virtual tour developer, I can now combine drone video with virtual 3D like tours.
Drones are also ideal for a roof top assessment of real estate home inspections.

3D Modeling
With my UAV drone, I can side-scan large objects for 3D modeling. This includes tall and large buildings, statues, sculptures, etc. The Nashville Peace Monument below is 40 feet tall.
