Pre-construction Design
Before breaking ground, this home owner was able to visualize the architects blue prints prior to starting construction on their new dream home. Many people see blue prints like spaghetti on paper. Bringing the floor plans into a 3 dimensional visual image helps fine-tune the home design functional aspects.
In this case, walls were moved in order to create more open space. The storage area in the basement was consolidated, and the non-load bearing walls in the entry were taken out in order to give the living area more visual space. If this was done in the construction phase of the house, you can imagine the added expense.
